Does Anyone Else You Crest Pro Health Toothpaste And Notice It Leaves Slime In Your Mouth?
K, I know that sounds gross, but for hours after I brush, I notice slimy things in my mouth, kind of like the texture of mucous. Does anyone know what that is indicative of?

It is the skin cells sloughing off from you cheek. This toothpaste may be too harsh for you. It would be wise to switch to a toothpaste that is not so harsh (like regular Crest or Crest tartar control).

I got samples of the Pro Health tooth paste AND mouth wash and found the same thing. Incredibly GROSS! It has to be some ingredient in the products. I know I will never buy it. I stick to Colgate Total.

Yeah! That’s been happening to me too! Is it like whitish, peelish-like? I thought maybe I was brushing too hard?

Yes I have. I’m so glad you posted this question. I was thinking that my gums where falling apart. I have no idea what it’s from but the dentist told me to keep using the toothpase until I get a crown on my tooth. So it might be normal from the chemicals in the toothpaste. I also use Listerine so it might be that the toothpaste is too strong for me. Oh and by the way it also leaves this funky taste in my mouth a little bit metallic. But the more I use the toothpaste the faster the metallic taste is going away. You should try talking to your dentist see if you can switch to a different brand. Good luck and thanks again!

I just use Crest tarter control with whitening. Use to use Colgate total, but our dentist suggested we switch to Crest tarter control.
