Which Of These Is Most Likely Causing My Allergic Reaction? Toothpaste, Whitestrips, Listerine Mouth Rinse?
crest white strips pro effects. crest pro health whitening toothpaste. cool mint listerine.
my throat becomes extremely itchy and my eyes turn bright red and bloodshot. which 1 of these should i eliminate first to test and see? thanks

eliminate all of them for a full 24 hours and then reintroduce them one at a time …….. it may be combo of 2 or even all three that are causing inflammation and distress ……. for example reintroduce the listerine mouth rinse first and if there’s no reaction after 48 hours reintroduce the next one and so on.
i’d put my money on the mouth rinse being the culprit.
peace baby

Why are you sure it’s something from your oral care system? Itchy throat and burning eyes just sounds like regular fall allergies to me. You can test it, but it seems like that’s something you would just take Claritin for.

All of these could be causing you to have an allergic reaction. If you are allergic to Salicylate, you could be allergic to the mint used in these products. You can visit this website for more info.

If you have good insurance, go get tested for allergies. Otherwise, eliminate all products and reintroduce them one at a time.
DO NOT take this lightly. The next time you have a reaction you could go into anaphylactic shock, and if untreated you could die.
GO to you doctor! He may want to prescribe an epipen for you to keep close at hand just in case.

I respect any advice MINX gives but I will tell you what came to my mind….which one do you have to use & which can you avoid….the toothpaste is the most important one so I would stop using everything except that…do this for a week & see if you are OK and if not buy a new tooth brush cause that could be the promblem…then again only use toothpaste…I take a spoon & clean my tongue so you can do that to have a fresher mouth…if you are OK then try listerine….I only use that occasionally maybe you are overdoing it & need whatever is natural to not be destroyed by the mouthwash….so I would slow down on that to only a couple times a week then use the strips but occassionally….if you find you are having an allergy ask Who you are allergic too cause there might be someone in your life that is irritating you & if so then calm down or get away from this person.
